I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We will draw from a diverse ‘toolbox’ of evidence based modalities to find the one that is best for you.

Services

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) - We’ll look at where your brain may be getting stuck by identifying ‘cognitive distortions’ - unhelpful or inaccurate thinking patterns - and begin to challenge the believes that fuel anxiety and depression.

DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) - Designed to help clientswith intense emotions, which is centered around acceptance and change. The four pillars include distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

IFS (Internal Family Systems) - Exploring the different ‘parts’ of you - like the Inner Critic, People-Pleaser, or Sabatoger - to find internal harmony. We look at the ‘why’ behind the ‘what.’

Attachment Based - Understanding how your early relationships created the ‘blueprint’ for your current ones.

Mindfulness Therapy - Developing a non-judgemental awareness of the present moment. In our sessions, we use mindfulness based techniques to help you observe your thoughts and physical sensations without becoming overwhelmed by them.

Gottman - identifying patterns within relationships that can erode a connection over time. The four horseman approach and identifying criticisms, defensiveness, stone-walling, and contempt. Learning to replace with health communication and compassion.

Somatic - techniques to work with the body to regulate the nervous system.

Compassion Focused - specifically designed for clients who struggle with self-criticism or shame. We focusing on developing internal skills of self-compassion and emotional resilience.

About Me

Life doesn’t always go as planned, and I too have sat in the seat you’re in now - feeling the weight of the world and wondering if things will ever feel light again. Of all of my credentials, my most significant is that I am a card carrying member of the human race. While life can feel really tough, I also know that our hardest chapters can lead to our greatest growth if we allow it.

My goal is to help you untangle the truth from the noise. That’s why I’ve dedicated my work to helping people find genuine clarity and peace. I will try to give you the honest perspective that you need to break old cycles. I’m not just here to listen - I’m here to help you see clearly, so you can finally move forward. I will try to give you a balance of constructive advice, honest feedback, empathy, humor, and warmth.
